Electric Vehicle Charging

Alectric Renewables supplies and installs Delta EV chargers and payment platform using the Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP). Solar Car Ports

A solar car port is the perfect compliment to an EV charging station. Alectric supplies and installs beautifully designed solar car ports from NYC-based Inhabit Solar. These carports can be scaled up or scaled down for either commercial or residential applications. Our carports feature adjustable pitch for maximum solar energy utilization, integrated battery storage, rainwater collection, and other corporate amenities. Alectric provides a full-wrap service for the supply and installation of these carports, including foundation design, permitting, and all civil, mechanical and electrical installation.

Smart Cool Technology

Air conditioning and cooling are often the largest energy loads in commercial and industrial buildings. Alectric supplies and installs Smart Cool Technology as an authorized agent of Smart Cool Systems. This technology can reduce the energy consumed by various types of commercial and residential AC units, heat pumps and chillers by between 20 and 60%, depending upon the application.

For residential AC units, rooftop AC units and other types of refrigeration systems, the ECO3 controller can be used to optimize the air-conditioning cycle. The ECO3 intelligently interprets signals sent by the thermostatic control to the compressor. Since most of the cooling during any AC cycle happens at the beginning of the cycle, and the rate of cooling rapidly declines towards the end of the cycle, the ECO3 will shut off the compressor when it calculates that the compressor is running inefficiently. Set point is still maintained.

Circuit Level Energy Metering

That’s why we offer circuit level energy metering as part of a comprehensive energy audit process designed to identify specific applications where energy consumption can be reduced.

Our metering solutions can also be used for Monitoring and Verification and fault detection.

Here’s how it works.

Alectric Renewables installs wireless, self-powering sensors which simply clamp on around individual circuits at your distribution panel. Sensors then send energy use data in real time to our cloud, where we can get a complete picture of your energy use.

Specific applications can be crafted to reduce that use, and our sensors can provide in-depth monitoring and verification in real time.

Commercial Battery Storage

Alectric Renewables supplies and installs commercial battery storage systems for large industrial electricity users with a peak demand factor of between 500 KW and 5 MW. These electricity consumers pay a ‘Global Adjustment’ charge in addition to HOEP, calculated based upon their peak demand during five peak demand events, as determined by the IESO. The Global Adjustment charge can run into the hundreds of thousands of dollars per month.

Commercial battery storage systems use an artificial intelligence program to anticipate when peak demand events are about to occur, and they switch part of the customers load from the grid to a battery storage system, which is drawn down during the peak demand event. This lowers the peak demand factor and dramatically lowers the global adjustment charges payable.
